- Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work (onshore or offshore) is carried out in a controlled manner
Day- to-day operations
- Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Operations
- Operates various machinery and equipment to ensure the equipment is operating in a good condition
- Checks and adjusts operating condition of machinery, instruments and equipment to ensure pressure, temperature, leakage lubrication, vibration and valve position
- Makes test runs after minor modification and repair
- Check leakage and vibration of machinery and equipment
- Checks operating condition of and test runs systems
- Observes and analyses process conditions through alarm system and indications, and takes appropriate measures to prevent abnormal conditions or countermeasures in emergencies as required
Reporting
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for section in order to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards
- Prepares daily and weekly reports on condition of machinery, equipment and facilities, including running hours of transmission pumps, operating conditions of wells and log book on gathering station’s activities to provide data for reporting
- Accident report to be prepared in a timely and clear manner
Safety, Health & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Attend to the periodical safety and emergency drill
