As a Material Planner for the Stator Cell, you will be dedicated to ensuring on-time delivery from the launch to the customer. You’ll play a key role in our manufacturing plan, coordinating and expediting the flow of materials. You will plan and schedule according to production needs using your in-depth knowledge of concepts, methods and procedures.

You will be responsibilities may include the following as well as other items required to execute the role:

• Works with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 months) and global forecasts
   
•  Works with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders. Understands business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
•  Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
•  Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
• Works with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
•  Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
   
• Monitor levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
   
• Assists with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP process

To be successful in this role you will:

•  Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience  experience in order management
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory optimization and management
• Have previous experience in MRP planning
•  Be able to demonstrate intermediate knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
•  Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
•  Be able to demonstrate strategic thinking with tactical execution with a sense of urgency
• Certification in CPIM is preferred
