Role Overview:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on Kalmar port equipment (reach stackers, forklifts, terminal tractors) to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:Assemble, install, test, and maintain Kalmar equipment systems Diagnose electrical faults in control systems, CAN bus networks, wiring, and components Use Kalmar Service Tool and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and commissioning Read technical manuals and diagrams Support maintenance planning and coordinate with engineers and technicians Maintain service records and recommend improvements
Qualifications:Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification3–5 years’ experience with electrical maintenance (industrial/port equipment preferred) Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Safety-focused and able to work independently or in a team
