Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Jeddah. As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will assist in planning and preparing high-quality pastries and baked goods in line with kitchen standards. Key responsibilities include managing daily bakery operations, ensuring the highest level of hygiene, supporting the Head Chef in creating and testing new recipes, and mentoring junior kitchen staff to uphold excellence in every aspect of production.
Qualifications
Expertise in Bakery and Baking techniques, with strong knowledge of tools and methodologies Creativity skills to design and refine innovative pastry and dessert recipes In-depth knowledge of Hygiene and food safety standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Proven Cooking experience, particularly in pastry and related culinary fields Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management abilities Flexibility to work in a high-paced environment and adapt to changing needs Formal culinary training or certification in baking and pastry arts is a plus Experience in a high-end pastry kitchen or café is advantageous
