Context

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of the Saudi Vision 2030, has developed and promulgated the essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC). These measures aim to help government and government affiliated organizations enhance their cybersecurity posture.
Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), is a government security entity which focuses primarily on computer security in the Kingdom and is directly linked to the King's office The NCA follows a comprehensive and strict security policy in order to protect users personal data. Servers related to the NCA website are subject to the highest level of protection, and personal data will be registered, processed, and shared using appropriate security technologies.
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team to work closely with our client, the Royal Commission of Riyadh City (RCRC), all stakeholders under contract with RCRC, to ensure that cyber security on the Riyadh Metro meets all the criteria established by the NCA – KSA.




Missions/Main Duties

  • Exposure in cyber security is essential.
  • Understanding of Network technologies, including MPLS, VPN, Wireless networking.
  • Understanding of IT security procedures including firewall theory and configuration.
  • Understanding of domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
    Familiarity with NIST SP800-53 and related special publications.
  • Knowledge of business needs and priorities and how those translate into security concerns and issues.
  • Ability to accurately evaluate current security procedures and develop plans for remedying any identified areas of weakness.
  • Ability to analyze information security events and make recommendations to team members and management for resolution.

Profile/Skills

  • 15-year degree in Computer Science (or related curriculum) and 10 - 12 years of progressive experience with combined experience in security and programming using specialized languages (or similar experience in IT infrastructure or mobilization solutions).
  • Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak very well in basic professional situations and present technical data in a logical manner that is easy to understand (may include communication via telephone, in person, or presenting to small groups).
  • Ability to write moderately complex documents (may include emails, memos, procedures, presentations)
  • Communicates with a wide variety of individuals (employees and managers) throughout the organization and outside of the organization (i.e., clients, vendors).
