Position: Oracle Core Database & Linux Administrator Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Up to 18,000 SAR per month
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Oracle Core Database & Linux Administrator with over 10 years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level Oracle databases and Linux systems for a university environment.
Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Core Databases Perform database monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery (RMAN) Ensure high availability, performance, and security of databases Manage and support Linux OS (RHEL/Oracle Linux) Handle patching, upgrades, and system troubleshooting Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues Work closely with application and infrastructure teams Maintain documentation and follow best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications10+ years of experience in Oracle Core Database Administration Strong expertise in Oracle DB architecture and performance tuning Hands-on experience with Linux system administration Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Experience in production environments (preferably large institutions) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
