Job Summary:

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all site activities related to HVAC systems installation, testing, adjusting, and commissioning.

The supervisor leads site technicians, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of HVAC works in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for HVAC systems, including:

o Chilled water systems

o DX systems (Split units, Package units)

o VRF/VRV system

o Air handling units (AHU), fan coil units (FCU), and ventilation fans

o Supply, return, fresh air, and exhaust ductwork

o Dampers (fire, smoke, volume control)

o Insulation works for ducts and pipes

o Installation of grills, diffusers, and louvers

o Refrigerant piping, drainage piping, and accessories

o HVAC equipment installation and alignment

• Supervise HVAC testing, adjusting, and commissioning activities, including:

o Duct leakage testing

o Air balancing and airflow measurement

o Refrigerant pressure testing and vacuuming

o System functional testing and performance verification

• Ensure HVAC installations comply with approved shop drawings, material submittals, specifications, and method statements.

• Coordinate duct routing, piping, equipment locations, sleeves, and openings with other trades (civil, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting).

• Monitor manpower productivity and allocate resources efficiently.

• Report daily progress, site issues, manpower status, and material requirements to the Project Manager. • Request materials in accordance with approved shop drawings.

• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, lifting devices, and machinery in a safe manner.

• Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC / Mechanical Systems.

• 5–8 years of hands-on site experience, preferably in Gulf countries.

• Strong experience in HVAC systems installation and supervision.

• Good understanding of HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical details.
