Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the cosmetics brand, ensuring efficiency across supply chain, retail, distribution, and customer service. This role will focus on managing resources, improving operational systems, and ensuring the seamless execution of product launches and store operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for cosmetics, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance and growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring stock is managed effectively to meet demand.
  • Work closely with suppliers and distribution partners to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Implement inventory control systems to reduce wastage and optimize storage space.
  1. Operational Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes across all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of product launches, new collections, and restocking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service) to meet business objectives.
  1. Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Monitor the quality of products to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Implement and oversee regulatory compliance practices in areas like labeling, product safety, and packaging.
  • Manage vendor relationships to maintain high-quality products and packaging.
  1. Team Management & Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of retail managers, warehouse staff, and operational personnel.
  • Provide regular training on operational procedures, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Ensure team members are motivated and perform at their highest potential.
  1. Sales & Financial Performance:
  • Work with the sales team to set operational targets and drive performance.
  • Monitor budgets, reduce operational costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and operational areas for improvement.
  1. Customer Experience & Retail Operations:
  • Ensure that store operations meet brand standards and deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring that stores are well-maintained and properly stocked.
  • Implement and track customer service initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
  1. Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
  • Prepare and present operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify areas of improvement within operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and growth within operations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the cosmetics or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and retail operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with e-commerce operations.
  • Familiarity with cosmetics industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of retail analytics and CRM systems.
