Job Title: Banquet Supervisor Department: Central Kitchen Operations Reports To: Banquet Manager
Position Overview:The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of catering events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. This role involves supervising banquet staff, maintaining quality standards, and addressing client needs during events to guarantee a premium experience for all high-end catering customers.
Key Responsibilities:Event Coordination:Assist the Banquet Manager in planning and executing events. Supervise event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure efficiency and quality. Communicate event details to staff and coordinate their roles during events.
Staff Supervision:Oversee banquet staff, including servers and support personnel, to ensure smooth operations. Provide on-site guidance and resolve any issues during events. Monitor staff performance and address any gaps in service standards.
Quality Control:Ensure food and beverage presentation meets the company’s high-quality standards. Address and resolve any service or quality concerns promptly. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the event.
Customer Engagement:Act as a point of contact for clients during events, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement.
Logistics Management:Ensure all necessary materials and supplies are available for events. Monitor inventory levels and communicate requirements to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or Event Management is a plus. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in banquet or event operations, preferably in a high-end catering environment. Skills:Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Leadership and team supervision skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
