INTERFACE ENGINEER/MANAGER

Project Objective: To connect Dammam 2nd Industrial City (Modon Facility) with the East–West Railway Network (EWR), enhancing freight capacity and integrating the industrial zone into the national logistics network as part of Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS). Scope of Works includes track works, viaduct over Highway, bridge over Aramco oil pipelines, roadworks, signalling & telecom, SEC works.


The Interface Engineer/Manager will lead coordination between the project team and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing interfaces on large-scale infrastructure projects in Dammam—especially with Aramco, local authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies. Experience working directly with Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) as a client is a strong advantage.

·       Manage all technical and operational interfaces between the project and external stakeholders, EPC contractors, municipalities, utilities, and government agencies.

·       Manage critical interfaces related to Saudi Aramco

·       facilitate timely approvals, permits, NOCs, and compliance documentation.

·       coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, and project controls teams to ensure interface requirements are fully integrated into project plans.

·       develope and maintaine Interface Management Plans detailing requirements, risks, and mitigation measures to ensure smooth execution.

·       keep interface records updated and shared weekly progress reports

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Proven experience managing interfaces on major projects in Dammam ideally involving Aramco.

Experience coordinating with Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR)  is an advantage.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
