Software Project Manager Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site) Industry: Software & Digital Channels
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead and oversee a critical project related to software and digital channels in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires on-site presence to ensure the full execution and delivery of the project within scope, time, and budget. As the Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from gathering requirements and developing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and wireframes to overseeing execution, implementation, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, including product management, UI/UX, development, QA, and client servicing teams.
This role also requires flexibility, as you may be assigned to manage and deliver other projects in different regions when needed.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring all phases—from requirements gathering to execution—are completed on time and within budget. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring clear communication of deliverables. Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, developers, QA teams, and client servicing teams to align on project goals and execution. Ensure clear and structured requirement gathering, BRD documentation, and wireframing for successful implementation. Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage software development cycles effectively. Engage with clients and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and expectations management. Identify risks and proactively address project roadblocks to maintain smooth execution. Ensure proper utilization of JIRA and other project management tools for tracking progress and reporting. Maintain a customer-centric approach, balancing business needs with technical feasibility. Be open to relocating or managing projects in different regions as required.
Requirements Proven experience as a Software Project Manager in software or digital transformation projects. Strong background in stakeholder and client management with a focus on delivering high-value solutions. Technical expertise with a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree (preferred). Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP). Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools. Strong ability to develop BRDs, wireframes, and oversee implementation efforts. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Fluent in Arabic and English. Willingness to be based in Riyadh and relocate to other regions if required for future projects.
