Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly efficient MEP Drafter to support our MEP departments in Riyadh. The candidate will be responsible for transforming engineering sketches and concepts into high-quality technical drawings and BIM models. This role is crucial for both tender submissions and on-site construction coordination, requiring a deep understanding of multi-disciplinary MEP services.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Technical Tender Drawings: Create professional MEP drawings and diagrams required for technical bid submissions.

2.Responsible for developing tender-stage shop drawings under the guidance of MEP engineers, incorporating preliminary design requirements and site constraints.

3.Compile, update, and manage comprehensive sets of construction shop drawings to ensure field teams have accurate data.

4.Develop 3D MEP models in Revit, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural elements.

5.Maintain drafting standards, layering, and block libraries in accordance with international and Saudi-specific project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

1.Expert in AutoCAD: Ability to handle complex layouts, Xrefs, and dynamic blocks with high speed and accuracy.

2.Proven experience in MEP modeling, family creation, and clash detection support.

3.Strong ability to read and interpret complex MEP engineering drawings .

4.Capability to convert engineers’ sketches or conceptual designs into standardized, clear, and professional shop drawings.

5.Familiar with international drafting standards (ISO/ANSI).

6.Demonstrated ability to work under tight tender deadlines and handle multiple drawing revisions efficiently.

Skills

Experience in the Middle East / Saudi Arabia construction market.

Experience in high-rise building or large-scale commercial project drafting.
