This position aims to recruit a Saudi national safety engineer/officer with a professional HSE certificate to provide specialized assurance for the safety management of core production facilities. The role will serve as a key liaison between the factory and relevant Saudi government authorities (such as Civil Defense, Environment, and Labor Departments), fully responsible for the day-to-day safety operations of the plant. Core responsibilities include ensuring that all factory activities strictly comply with Saudi local regulations and international HSE standards, preventing accidents, safeguarding personnel, assets, and the environment through systematic risk control, emergency preparedness, safety culture development, and effective government communication, and ensuring successful clearance of official audits and inspections.
1.Be responsible for the daily safety management of the factory, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and Saudi local regulations.
2.Liaise with government departments (such as Civil Defense, Environment, and Labor Departments), submit safety reports, and handle related matters.
3.Regularly organize safety training and drills to enhance employee safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.
Conduct safety hazard inspections and risk assessments, develop improvement measures, and oversee their implementation.
4.Investigate safety incidents, analyze causes, and propose preventive measures.
5.Maintain and update the factory’s safety records and documents to meet audit requirements.
6.Assist in formulating and revising HSE management systems and emergency response plans.
7.Collaborate with various departments to promote safety culture development and continuous improvement.
8.Complete other tasks assigned by leadership.
Skills
1.Possess a valid HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) certificate and relevant professional certifications.
2.Saudi national, familiar with local safety regulations and government procedures in Saudi Arabia.
3.Experience in safety management within the manufacturing industry, with knowledge of factory safety standards and operational processes.
4.Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong communication skills.
5.Responsible for safety liaison between the factory and government departments to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
6.Strong organizational and coordination skills, as well as emergency response capabilities.
