Function:
The Barista is responsible for making quality beverages, generally specialty hot drinks, preparing drink orders, working the cash register and cleaning and stocking bar while ensuring dedication to providing a high quality customer experience.
Baristas must do all required tasks quickly and efficiently while working in a professional manner.
Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Greet all customers with friendly, professional manner
• Maintain the outlet's service standards, product quality and cleanliness
• Prepare and sell beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
• Generate revenue by attracting new customers
• Maintain guest relations and smoothness of the service cycle
• Handle all opening, hand over, ongoing and closing duties
• Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards
• Organize take away orders efficiently and handle orders from home delivery
• Ensures stock levels are maintained and required items are timely ordered
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards on safety and sanitization policies when handling food and beverage
• Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies
• Assist with customer complaints concerning quality and service in a prompt and professional manner or escalate it
• Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards
• Any other duties assigned by your supervisor/manager

Qualifications:
• Minimum high school education required, higher degree preferable.
• Prior 1-year experience as barista is required
