- Prepare and quantify quantities for electromechanical works including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review contract documents, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency with Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare, review, and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for electromechanical projects.
- Perform detailed cost analysis and pricing for electromechanical work items.
- Evaluate and manage variation orders, claims, and change requests, assessing their cost impact on the project.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical issues affecting quantities and costs.
- Prepare, review, and certify monthly progress payments and interim valuations based on actual work executed.
- Monitor project costs, control budgets, and ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
- Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Prepare cost reports, financial forecasts, and cash flow analyses for management review.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise junior quantity surveyors and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions, engineering standards, and applicable local and international codes.
- Participate in technical meetings, negotiations, and cost-related discussions with stakeholders.
- Utilize quantity surveying and project management software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Primavera, or equivalent tools.
