The Secondary Electrical Design Engineer must have relevant degree from recognized university and must have thorough knowledge and work experience in the 132k V/220kv or higher level booster station and substation secondary electrical engineering.(It will be priority with experience in Wind/Solar energy project specifically Substations.) Duties and Responsibilities:Design and configure Secondary electrical system, includes secondary overall SLD and wiring design, metering system, power system security protection and supervisory computer control system, DC/AC power system, SCADA system, fire alarm system, reactive/active power regulating system, etc. Configuration of secondary electrical equipment, includes relay protection and measurement control equipment, SCADA equipment, synthesis automatic devices, DC/AC system equipment and controlling cable as per relevant standards, SEC requirements and utility guidelines. Familiar with substation and Wind/PV station system Communication as per Protocol, Goose Messaging, IEC 61850, TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, as well as legacy utility protocols. Preparing the IO list, communication cable schedules, the substation automation system point list (SDL), complete technical specification/RFP documents as per project requirements. Project site visit to troubleshoot of secondary electrical and communication systems. Verification the compliance of Hardware and software systems. Communication with Electrical company and related engineering company to solve the compatibility issue. Communication with suppliers and collating and review technical documents. Coordination/review of preliminary/final design documents, proposals and vendor submissions and making Financial and technical evaluation. Coordinates with Mechanical, Civil and Primary Electrical Engineers. Provides site specific solutions to matters arising during construction.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering.8-10 years of experience in designing of Substation secondary electrical and communication system. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously. Professional License requirements: Membership of SEC. Have knowledge of Auto CAD and working on 2D & 3D drawings. Candidate have worked in Wind/Solar energy projects specifically Substations will be preferred. Ready to join within 30 days.
