Job Description We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to play a key role in building and scaling our data platforms. You will work within agile teams to design, automate, and govern data pipelines that power analytics, automation, and business insights across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise with ownership, mentoring, and collaboration. Job Responsibilities Build, test, monitor, and maintain scalable and reliable data platforms. Design and develop automated data pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments. Implement best practices for data quality, validation, and governance. Execute architected solutions for data collection, management, and consumption. Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions. Guide and mentor junior data engineers, supporting technical growth and best practices.
Job Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in Data Engineering. Experience delivering complex, cross-domain data projects. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX, distributed systems, and server architectures. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and on-prem data centers. Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and analytics best practices. Experience building high-volume data pipelines and data movement solutions. Familiarity with data governance and catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica EDC/IDQ). Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub, Ansible, Chef). Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. High attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, flexible, and ownership-driven mindset.
