Job Description – Senior Officer: Operations

Location: Makkah, Saudi Arabia

Business Unit: Kabi CTC

Department: Taxi Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager

Role Type: Full-time (On-site)


Role Purpose

The Senior Officer – Operations is responsible for managing and executing critical operational processes that directly impact fleet efficiency, driver performance, compliance, and overall service quality. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, incentive management, grievance handling, and coordination between operations, finance, HR, and on-ground teams. The position plays a key role in operational governance, continuous process improvement, and supporting the digital transformation of operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Officer: Operations

Strategic Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in executing operational strategies to achieve KPIs related to utilization, revenue, and fleet performance.

• Provide operational insights to enhance driver productivity, engagement, and overall service quality.

• Ensure incentive structures align with business goals and support profitability.


Operational Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely processing of driver salaries, incentives, penalties, and deductions.

• Address driver queries, grievances, and escalations, ensuring quick and fair resolution


• Ensure full compliance with company SOPs and regulatory (RTA/Transport Authority) requirements.

• Coordinate with Finance and Fleet teams to validate payroll inputs and vehicle-related deductions.

• Monitor key KPIs including EPT (Earnings Per Taxi), attendance compliance, and shift utilization.

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational and payroll reports for management review.

• Support digital transformation initiatives (Buddy App, RFID attendance, dashboards).

People & Process Responsibilities

• Guide and train new operations staff and driver-care executives on salary and query-handling SOPs.

• Identify process gaps in payroll accuracy, driver communication, or data validation.

• Streamline data collection and workflow processes to reduce manual errors.

• Assist in implementing automation tools and dashboards to improve transparency and efficiency.


Desired Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).


Skills:

• Strong MS Excel and data-handling skills.

• Experience with payroll systems or ERP tools preferred.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to manage high-volume stakeholder interactions (multi-national driver base).


Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in operations, payroll, or fleet management.

• Transportation/taxi/mobility industry experience preferred.

Role Purpose

The Officer – Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant daily fleet operations. The role plays a key part in driver coordination, operational reporting, attendance and shift management, salary validation support, and maintaining high service standards across the Makkah operation. The position acts as a bridge between drivers, base supervisors, and management to ensure uninterrupted mobility services.

Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic Responsibilities

  • • Support in achieving operational KPIs including fleet uptime, driver utilization, and service-level targets.
  • • Contribute to operational planning and implementation of process improvements.
  • • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior leadership.


B. Operational Responsibilities

  • • Maintain accurate daily driver attendance, roster, and shift allocation records.
  • • Oversee driver base operations including check-ins, issue escalations, and policy adherence.
  • • Coordinate vehicle handovers, replacements, and basic issue resolution with drivers.
  • • Validate driver documents and assist in preparing monthly salary inputs, deductions, and incentives.
  • • Manage communication between drivers and operations — notices, updates, policy reminders, and compliance instructions.
  • • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, company policies, and RTA regulatory requirements.
  • • Support dispatch, field teams, and control room in real-time operational requirements.
  • • Assist in base inspections, audits, and operational compliance checks.


  • C. Process & Performance Improvement
  • • Identify gaps in driver documentation, payroll validation, or attendance processes.
  • • Recommend and support implementation of workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • • Assist with adoption of digital systems like RFID attendance, mobile app documentation, and automated reporting tools.

Salary - Operation officer - 7500 SAR

Sr Operation Officer -9500

8 Hours a day/ 5 Days week

12 month Extendable -permanent contract

Nationality preferred - Saudi Nationals
