Job Summary The Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating effective learning solutions that support organizational goals. This role focuses on creating engaging instructional materials using sound learning theories, instructional design models, and modern learning technologies. Key Responsibilities Analyze training needs and learning objectives in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs). Design and develop instructional content using recognized instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE). Create engaging learning materials such as e-learning courses, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning programs, and assessments. Develop storyboards, scripts, and course outlines. Apply adult learning principles and instructional strategies to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Utilize learning technologies and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate, LMS platforms). Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Revise and update learning materials based on evaluation results and changing requirements. Ensure consistency with branding, quality standards, and accessibility guidelines. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Proven experience in instructional design or learning and development. Strong understanding of instructional design theories and adult learning principles. Experience with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills.
