Role Description

This is a full-time role that requires frequent travelling to the project sites to conduct Air Quality Monitoring. As an Operator/Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring activities, collecting air quality samples while maintaining AQMS Lab Equipment to keep them in a properly functional condition.

We are seeking a highly motivated technician to join our team in Dammam, KSA. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our air quality monitoring stations.

Main Responsibilities

• Operation, and routine maintenance of AQMS analyzers;
• Troubleshooting of the analyzers to remove errors and alarms;
• Data analysis & reporting while ensuring data accuracy and integrity;
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all activities;
• Travel to monitoring sites as per the project requirements (preferably having a valid Saudi driving license).

Skills

Mandatory Qualifications

• Valid diploma or certification in Environmental Science, Instrumentation, or related field
• 2-3 years of practical experience in air quality monitoring, data collection, analysis, and reporting with hands-on experience with major AQM analyzers (ThermoScientific, Horiba, EnvironSA etc), Dust Samplers and Meteorological Sensors
• Proficiency in using different monitoring software
• Thorough understanding of environmental regulations in Saudi Arabia as well as USEPA and OSHA alongwith the knowledge of the best practices in air quality monitoring.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to operate electrical generator for off-grid mobile AQMS lab operation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
