Job Overview:
A leading contracting company in the MEP sector is seeking an experienced MEP Estimation Engineer to join its team. The role focuses on cost estimation, tendering, and pricing for large-scale infrastructure and healthcare projects, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and commercial evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and specialized systems).
- Estimate infrastructure and utility works, including piping networks, cabling, ducting, manholes, and related services.
- Review drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Prepare cost estimates for Medical Gas Systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct price analysis, cost breakdowns, and financial comparisons.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to obtain competitive quotations.
- Support technical and commercial tender evaluations and risk assessments.
- Work professionally on Etimad Platform and TARAH (TARH) Platform, including tender submission and follow-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP cost estimation.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Medical Gas Systems estimation.
- Proven experience working on Etimad Platform.
- Strong experience in infrastructure and utility projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related software/tools.
