Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in development of design concepts, diagrams, and schematic layouts under guidance from senior architects and engineers.
- Prepare and revise construction documents, drawings, and details in accordance with applicable standards, codes, and project requirements.
- Support coordination with MEP, structural, and civil disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Contribute to 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation materials to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
- Assist in site analysis, feasibility studies, and design reviews to inform decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews, quality control processes, and constructability reviews to support project delivery.
- Support project teams in creating bill of materials, material lists, and procurement documentation as needed.
- Assist in compiling project documentation for permits, approvals, and client presentations.
- Maintain organized project files and version control to ensure accurate, up-to-date information availability.
- Engage in continuous learning about local building regulations, standards, and best practices in Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications and Requirements
- University degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Bachelor) or pursuing related field; internship/career-level role.
- Foundational understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit) and 3D modeling tools; proficiency in CAD software is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong visual and design sensibilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage time and workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute to a positive team culture.
