We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive workshop in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving the overall success of our automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automotive services and repair processes, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and service advisors, ensuring that all service operations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations of the automotive workshop, ensuring all services are performed to the highest standards and in compliance with company policies.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of technicians and service advisors, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  3. Develop and implement service department objectives and strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  4. Monitor and analyze service department performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards, to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  7. Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary parts for repairs and services.
  8. Prepare and manage the service department budget, including forecasting revenue and controlling expenses.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to ensure the workshop remains competitive and efficient.
  10. Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in automotive services and customer service.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  4. In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes and service operations.
  5. Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
