Lays-out, assembles, install and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports and related hydraulic
and pneumatic equipments for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating and industrial
production and processing systems.
1. Read and interpret plot plans, drawing, spools sheet and detailed sheet and plan works
procedures.
2. Perform beveling and preparation of pipe ends for fit-ups..
3. Selects, measures, cuts and install underground and above ground piping systems, joints
and connections, including concrete pipe, Carbon steel pipes, and fiberglass,
thermoplastic pipes using hand and power tools.
Skills
4. Install pipes and fittings, valves, traps, or strainers, fit-up gasket and bend pipes.
5. Prepares pipe lengths and fittings for fit-up and sets up all types of weld joints.
6. Perform acid washing (If required) for all choked valves and pipelines.
