Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Engineer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials, equipment, and services for our operations and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background combined with supply chain expertise to ensure the procurement process aligns with technical specifications, project timelines, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine procurement needs.

2. Source and qualify reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors locally and internationally.

3. Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.

4. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services by tracking order status and coordinating logistics.

5. Work closely with engineering, quality, and project teams to ensure supplier compliance with technical and quality standards.

6. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved vendor database.

7. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations.

8. Maintain accurate procurement records, including technical documentation, contracts, and delivery notes.
