ROLE OVERVIEW |
The Code of Conduct Investigation Manager is responsible for leading and managing investigations into violations of the organization’s Code of Conduct. This includes issues such as conflicts of interest, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unethical behavior, and other breaches of organizational values or legal standards. The manager ensures investigations are fair, thorough, confidential, and consistent with company policy and applicable laws. |
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY - Bachelor’s degree in Law, HR, Criminal Justice, Business Ethics, or a related field
- 7+ years conducting internal investigations (HR, Legal, Compliance, or Ethics)
- Experience managing sensitive and complex misconduct cases
- Strong interviewing, fact-finding, and documentation skills
- Excellent analytical, judgment, and report-writing abilities
- Ability to manage confidential issues with integrity and professionalism
- Familiarity with case management systems
- Understanding employment law, workplace conduct policies, and organizational ethics
- Awareness of anti-retaliation practices and whistleblower protections
- Experience in regulated or global organizations

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES The Code of Conduct Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Investigate Allegations - Lead end-to-end investigations related to Code of Conduct violations, from intake to resolution.
Conduct Interviews & Gather Evidence - Interview complainants, witnesses, and subjects of investigations; collect and analyze documentation and digital evidence.
Case Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate, timely records and prepare clear, comprehensive investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
Ensure Compliance - Ensure all investigations comply with internal policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Key Stakeholders - Collaborate with HR, Legal, and department leadership to assess risks and determine outcomes or corrective actions.
Support Ethics Culture - Contribute to ethics and compliance training initiatives and help improve internal awareness of the Code of Conduct.
Data & Trends Analysis - Track investigation trends to identify risk areas and recommend improvements to policy and culture.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Experience - 5+ years of experience conducting internal investigations in HR, compliance, ethics, or legal settings
- Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace conduct policies, and ethical standards

- Experience using case management systems or tools
