JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage the execution of gap analysis to assess the current ESG performance of the company and identify areas for improvement.
Lead the materiality assessment and prioritize material issues.
Lead the Benchmarking of JCDC\'s performance against industry peers and best practices.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, customers, government agencies, and community partners to stay informed about emerging ESG trends and best practices and enhance the company\'s reputation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company, including executive leadership, business units, and functional teams, to integrate ESG topics into reporting and monitoring.
Oversee and guide the development and implementation of the company\'s ESG/Sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030,corporate Strategy, mission, and values.
Ensure the establishment and the monitoring of ESG goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure alignment with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations.
Lead the development of a practical action plan to address identified gaps and improve overall sustainability performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Keep abreast of ESG trends, regulatory developments, and best practices, and ensure that JCDC remains at the forefront of ESG in the real estate development sector.
Develop and implement employee training and engagement programs to promote ESG awareness and understanding of ESG issues and encourage employee participation in sustainability initiatives.
Manage the effective achievement of JCDC objectives through effective leadership and by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating team to maximize performance.
Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned personnel, collaborating with discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the annual business plans, policies and procedures.
Lead the development and implementation of ESG-related policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives, including environmental management systems, sustainable supply chain practices, and social impact initiatives.
Ensure the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of ESG systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
Lead the development and publication of a comprehensive, annual, standalone Sustainability Report that highlights the Company\'s sustainability performance, commitments, and goals.
Oversee the preparation and communication of ESG performance reports and disclosures in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and international best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university. (Master’s degree preferred)
Certifications or additional training in ESG, sustainability, or related areas will be an added advantage.
Minimum 15 years of experience in ESG/Sustainability leadership roles.
Proficient in English language is a must, Arabic language is preferred.
