We are seeking a results-driven and commercially experienced Commercial Manager to oversee all contractual, financial, and commercial aspects of a large-scale MEP and ELV stadium project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves contract administration, cost control, budgeting, claims management, and ensuring profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all commercial activities, including contract administration, cost control, and project budgeting.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements in line with project objectives.
• Monitor project expenditures, manage cash flow forecasts, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, commercial forecasts, and financial dashboards for management.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage variations, claims, and change orders.
• Work closely with project managers, procurement, and planning teams to align budgets with actual progress.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project documentation, and local laws.
• Lead the preparation of interim and final payment applications to clients.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation plans from a commercial perspective.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams on commercial negotiations and dispute resolution.
Skills
- Minimum 15 years of total experience in commercial and contract management, ideally within MEP and ELV sectors.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline. (MRICS or equivalent is a plus)
- Proven experience in stadium or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, claims preparation, and cost analysis.
- Proficient in cost management software, MS Excel, and ERP tools.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work full-time in Saudi Arabia for the full duration of the project.
