Job Purpose:
The role of Senior Manager of Interface holds the responsibility of managing the interfaces between the dry & wet utilities, other infrastructure, various assets, buildings, plots and masterplan land use. He/ she will also be managing and running the utility interface during the design, delivery and commissioning of generation, transmission and distribution networks with a specific emphasis on renewable energy resources as required under the utility programs, within the infrastructure realm of the Red Sea Global (RSG) projects.
He/ she will be running the interfaces for the following dry and wet utilities:

Treated sewage effluent (TSE) transmission and distribution. Waste management collection, transfer, transportation, treatment and disposal.
Whilst helping manage the development of the department visions, goals and objectives, the role holders shall also execute the planning and management of dry and wet utility interface for projects that remain in the design and implementation phases of the BOOT/ PPP. He/She shall also execute constructions and processes as agreed upon in terms of quality, standards, materials, schedule, costs as well as compliance to The Red Sea Utility Company (TRSUC) and RSG’s business objectives and requirements.

Strategic Contribution
Interface Management

Execute and implement interface management strategies and plans for the dry and wet utilities project during the planning, tender preparation, bidding, design, construction, commissioning and testing phases.

Liaise the technical interface management requirement and solution between internal TRSUC project design, construction, testing and commissioning team and the external stakeholders including engineering consultants, Technical Advisors, D&B Contractors and PPP Project Companies.

Manage the interface between the dry and wet utility generation assets and the transmission and distribution networks, and the interface between the primary distribution and secondary distribution networks.

Execute cross-projects, cross-packages interface plans and review the interface management design and construction documents and ensure that each design consultants, contractor, etc. initiate, manage, and closes out all interface management issues in a timely manner.

Initiate, coordinate and manage periodic interface management coordination meetings with internal TRSUC/ RSG departments, disciplines and teams, and external stakeholders and promote cross-project and cross-package interaction and close cooperation between all internal and external parties.

Monitor and report on the progress of projects from the interface management point perspective along with the cost management and the planning management teams to monitor and control projects against budgeted costs, quality, and schedule to ensure that the project specifications are aligned with tender documents.

Monitor the commissioning and testing including the 3rd party testing, startup test, trail run tests, performance tests, reliability tests, annual capacity tests and ensure that all major/ main systems and sub-systems for the dry and wet utilities are meeting the technical, functional specifications and the contractual requirements prior to issuing the acceptance certificates for the dry utilities generation projects.

Oversee and manage the relationship with the consultants and subconsultants, plan upcoming works, oversee the quality of work, and recommend appropriate measures to ensure that project delivery date and technical requirements are met.

Help manage the identification, assessment, and mitigation of different interface management aspects of risks presented on the project to create preventative risk methods and avoid potential delays and added cost.

Prepare functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are
identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
