Job Purpose
The Water Sports Instructor plays a key role in the operation of water-based activities across The Red Sea Project. This position works closely with the Senior Water Sports Management to activate tourism assets and deliver the TRSP water sports program to guests. The instructor is responsible for assisting in the daily operations, collaborating with hotel teams and the TRSP operations group, and maintaining a high standard of service to ensure a world-class experience for all guests. Water Sports Instructors not only guide guests in exploring the excitement of water sports, but they also serve as ambassadors for The Red Sea Project, leading by example and fostering a love for water activities among visitors.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are in full compliance with venue-specific standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and clean all equipment and assets, ensuring everything is in top condition.
- Actively promote and advocate for all water sports activities, even those outside of direct responsibility (e.g., diving).
- Participate in regular review sessions with management to discuss daily operations and share updates.
- Ensure all activities are delivered in alignment with international regulations and venue-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
- Inspire guests to try new activities, enhance their skills, and progress through training and certification, creating lasting memories that keep them coming back.

Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience delivering a variety of water sports in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven track record in a multi-discipline water sports program.
- First Aid Certificate from a recognized provider, valid for at least 6 months from the start of employment.
- Powerboat operator’s license, including rescue techniques.
- Instructor-level certification in small sailboats (Dinghies, Catamarans) from an internationally recognized accreditation organization or National Sailing Federation.
- Accredited certifications in one or more of the following disciplines: Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking.
- Powerboat certification, including rescue techniques for various water sports equipment.
- VHF Radio Operators' License.
