Job purpose: Initiate the day-to-day payment and cash operations to ensure the company meets all payment obligations and has access to adequate liquidity at all times and support other tasks of the Treasury Operations team as required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare accurate cash flow forecasting (short and long term) on a regular basis in cooperation with Controlling and the relevant business departments
- Design, implement, configure and maintain systems and procedures for regular inflow and outflow of cash
- Manage regular payment processes in line with the company’s policies and procedures
- Initiate and execute FX management transactions as required
- Support Manager Treasury Operations and Head of Treasury (as applicable) in managing bank relationships for the company
- Support establishing and maintaining banking arrangements necessary for the management of bank balances and other funds
- Track available balances in the company’s bank accounts to ensure sufficient cash availability to meet company’s payment obligations and invest excess cash in line with company policies
- Administration of Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit (incl. all related entries in IT system)
- Support analysis of company’s need for additional funding to ensure that adequate liquidity is available when needed
- Prepare Treasury related presentation material for the senior management of the Company as required
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts as required (e.g. monthly Cash report / forecast)
- Support the development of a documented system of Finance and Treasury policies and procedures
- Support the development and implementation of all relevant Treasury internal controls and ensure external audit requirements are met
- Be an example of discipline, compliance, work ethic and integrity to own team members, the Finance department and the Company
- Lead, coach and evaluate team members to ensure their progress and team performance
- Perform other duties or assignments as required by the company/department.
Skills
Education:
- Bachelor or other higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a similar subject.
Experience:
- 6 - 10 years finance related work experience, ideally in Corporate Treasury.
- Hands-on experience in implementation and day-to-day usage of SAP S4 Hana is an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Understanding of domestic KSA and regional banking and capital markets
- Knowledge of cash and payment processes and banking documentation in Saudi Arabia
- Knowledge of and experience in using Treasury related functions of ERP systems is an advantage
- Professional usage of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is necessary, experience in Power BI is an advantage
- Attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile
- True team player and experience in stakeholder management at different levels of seniority
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English are mandatory; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
