Job Purpose
- Develop and monitor performance to develop sales and profitability in accordance with the defined business strategy
- Ensure the implementation of good practices and compliance with procedures.
Functional Accountabilities
- Provide periodical technical training as well as continuous coaching and extend support to associates in the stores
- Act as a first point of contact for fresh department to bridge the gap between operations, commercial, quality and supply chain
- Support in product innovation (including conversions, new recipes, and creating new products)
- Perform periodical store visits to ensure compliance to standards
- Monitor the store’s performance for Fresh Department including sales, sales mix, margin, waste, days cover and audit scores and provide solutions to improve performance
- Responsible for new implementations that come from the Operations Center of Excellence
- Provide weekly insights to commercial and Operations Center of Excellence on competitors’ activities
- Act as a subject matter expert for new item listing in term of quality as well as the implementation plan to execute effectively instore
- Provide and report feedback on lack of resources as per agreed plan and any maintenance issues that affect the execution of the commercial plan
