Position: Senior Finance Officer

Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Regional Finance Manager in Statutory Compliance for KSA entity Corporate Tax, VAT, Statutory Audit and Accounting, Treasury Management
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting and finance function of the KSA entity and prepare monthly reports reflecting proper earnings based on accrual concept.
- Preparation and Filling of monthly VAT return in Compliance with Zakat Rules and Regulations.
- Independently handle the audit process and ensure all queries and questions are resolved on a timely basis and secure a clean report within the stipulated time.
- Coordinate with tax consultant in filling annual return and payment of corporate tax in compliance with Zakat rules and regulation
- Preparation & Upkeep of accounting manuals and procedures and monitor the adherence to the same.
- Preparation of product/ Business Unit profitability statement on a quarterly basis and communicate the same to the respective stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring the cash flow situation on a daily/ Weekly basis and provide early warning indicators wherever necessary.
- Control on the branch office reports on local expenses and ensure receipt of the same on a monthly basis.
- Ensure reconciling items in the bank statements are adjusted appropriately.
- Manage and maintain the fixed assets/Demo equipment register and ensure all C/WIP is capitalized on completion.
- Assist in compiling key performance metrics and report them to the management.
- Oversee the reconciliation of local and foreign vendors are conducted on a monthly basis and ensure all payment allocations are done as they happen. Ensure any open issue is resolved by investigating the reasons for the same.
- Oversee the treasury function and take part in the cashflow management and discuss with Suppliers if there are any issues in orders and resolve them.
Qualifications and experience:
- 8-10 Years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and experience with professional qualification in accounting (Preferably a CA / CMA).
- Excellent communication and writing skills to provide commentary and presentation of financial results.
- Advanced skills on spreadsheets.
- Should have worked on ERP systems.
- Ability to conduct and conclude audits independently and address queries from the auditors.
