Job Summary: The QA/QC Mechanical Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the quality assurance and quality control aspects of mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
- Inspection and Testing: Oversee mechanical inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure all mechanical equipment and systems meet the required standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all QA/QC processes. Prepare and submit QA/QC documentation and reports to clients and project management teams.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and manage non-conformances. Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure purchased materials and equipment meet project requirements.
- Audits: Conduct internal and external quality audits. Ensure compliance with project requirements and facilitate continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gaz Construction Projects. Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC management
- Certification in QA/QC such as CWI, AWS, or other relevant certifications
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
