Sr. Contract Advisor

Basic Function:

The Sr. Contract Advisor provides expert advice, guidance, and support on a variety of legal matters. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, legal agreements, and other documents, as well as managing contract negotiations. The advisor conducts legal research and analysis, ensuring legal compliance in business operations and implementing risk management strategies. Additionally, the role serves as a liaison, coordinating with external legal services when necessary.


Principal Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to management and departments on a wide range of contract-related matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents to meet business needs.
  • Assess the legal risks associated with contracts and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Conduct legal research to stay up to date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance in all contracts.
  • Review and enforce legal clauses in contracts, ensuring they align with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external legal entities during contract negotiations and executions.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that contractual terms are fulfilled and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor and ensure contracts are aligned with legal standards, making updates when necessary.
  • Provide advice on contract procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.


Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law (L.L.B.) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Law or a specialization in Contract Law is preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in contract management, legal advisory, or similar roles is required.
  • Significant experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex contracts and legal documents.
  • Experience in managing legal risk, compliance, and contract negotiations at a senior level.
  • Excellent command of oral and written communication, particularly in English.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Advanced negotiation and problem-solving abilities.


Other Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of both local and international laws and regulations related to contracts.
  • Ability to work with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve disputes and legal challenges.
