The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).
Responsibilities
-The main purpose is to serve visitors by greetings, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Answers incoming telephones positively and warmly.
-Provides callers with basic and accurate information.
-Offers coffee or other refreshments to visitors who are at waiting area.
-Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
-Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk ( monitor Employees ID cards, issue visitor permissions).
-Takes Messages for various personnel.
-Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail.
-Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing or any admin job assigned by the direct manager.
-Perform any other duties or responsibilities that are being requested by the direct manager within the framework of the tasks and activities mentioned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or relevant work experience
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
