The NEOM Actuary Insurance Manager will lead the development and implementation of robust actuarial and risk management frameworks to support the insurance initiatives within NEOM. This role will ensure the alignment of risk strategies with the overarching goals of NEOM’s vision, driving sustainable financial outcomes and regulatory compliance through actuarial modelling and financial analysis reporting on NEOM insurance activities. The individual will play a key role in risk assessments, financial modeling, regulatory adherence, and strategic decision-making processes. |
ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES The NEOM Insurance Actuary Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Risk Assessment and Management - Develop and implement robust actuarial assessment frameworks to align with NEOM’s insurance strategic objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate insurance risk exposures, recommending appropriate financial risk mitigation strategies.
Financial Modeling- Design and execute advanced financial models to support insurance portfolio and stand-alone program and facility management with risk transfer and risk retention strategies.
- Provide insights into financial forecasts and risk scenarios to guide decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance- Ensure adherence to local and international insurance regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
Stakeholder Engagement- Communicate actuarial findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate actuarial insights into broader strategic insights.
Leadership - Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other communication materials tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Ensure that all stakeholder engagement activities comply with the relevant regulations and ethical standards.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Experience - 7+ years od experience in actuarial roles within the insurance industry.
- Expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to lead and influence stakeholders in complex project environments.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and advanced analytical tools.
Qualification - Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field.
- Fellow or Associate membership of a recognized body (e.g. IFoA, SOA, CAS).
- Advanced certifications in risk management or related disciplines are advantageous.
