Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Hydrological/Hydraulic Engineer with significant experience in working with Saudi Arabian municipalities and a robust understanding of local regulations and standards. This role is crucial for our team as it involves leading hydrology and storm water drainage projects within the region, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia’s environmental and infrastructure guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hydrological studies to support regional projects in compliance with Saudi Arabian standards.
- Design and oversee the implementation of drainage facility projects, focusing on systems for plain and rainwater management.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local municipality regulations and maintain active communication with Saudi Arabian municipal authorities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydrological analyses into broader project initiatives and planning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and project progress to stakeholders, including government bodies.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in hydrology and infrastructure regulations within Saudi Arabia to ensure all practices are current and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Geological Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in hydrology, storm water drainage, and related fields, with significant exposure to projects in Saudi Arabia.
- At least 6 years of experience in conducting in-depth hydrological studies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in the design and management of drainage facility projects under Saudi municipal systems.

- Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret complex hydrological data and apply it to practical projects.
- Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software, such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar tools.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and standard protocols of Saudi Arabian municipalities.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in the region.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with municipal officials and other stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred to facilitate seamless communication.
