We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Perform maintenance tasks such as HVAC system maintenance, plumbing repairs, and electrical work
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and perform repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of facility maintenance plans and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex maintenance issues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Certification in facility management or a related field is a plus
