***Clarification on SMP Contract: It is Supplementary Manpower service contract job in which prospective applicants are interviewed and salary determined by NEOM interview panel; and being employed under the payroll of SMP Contract (SMP Vendor). Successfully mobilized candidates would be under the visa sponsorship of SMP Vendor Company/Contract.


REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

The Business Operations Lead SMP responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to optimize processes and achieve business objectives.
  • Assists Business Operations managers with developing, organizing, and supporting Business requests by Fulfilling obligations and needs of core business tasks, which includes but not limited to (building RFPs, providing support in management, budgeting and payments as well as managing tenders, procurement and financial requests.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve overall business performance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all business operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operations staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Execute specific plan, programs, visits, and meetings under the supervision and guidance of BO Department.
  • Work collaboratively with NEOM Sector and Departments to efficiently finalize applicable engagements.
  • Establish and sustain proactive relationships to achieve effective bilateral information sharing
  • Responsible for managing official correspondences, to prepare the official response in Arabic/English.
  • Handle all communications and logistics for assigned tasks/requests.
  • Responsible for coordinating and finalizing all required follow-on actions associated with the BO meetings/visits.
  • Prepare briefs and presentations as required to articulate in a brief manner the progress of tasks and requests of the team.
  • Dealing with raised risks and issues that are related to Business Operations.
  • Provide all support to Gov entities if needed.

  • Ability to work effectively in both informal and highly official settings.
  • Excellent Operational Management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Government stakeholder Operations.
  • Knowledgeable of Saudi and Middle Eastern culture and history.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • High standard of integrity and character.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High Flexibility, commitment, and accessibility
  • Establish a good working relationship with relevant sectors departments within NEOM.
  • Understand and apply business cases and risks management processes
  • Plan and manage deployment of resources to meet set milestones
  • Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the daily operational processes.
  • Apply quality management principles and processes


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with no less than 3 years of experience in Business Operations, Project Management, or Technical and Business related areas.
