Position Overview:

The Head of Finance will be a key member of the company's executiveleadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring IFRS 15compliance, and driving financial strategy to support the company’s growth goals. This role requires a deep understanding of financial standards, particularly in the technology sector, and an established track record of financial leadership. The Head of Finance will manage all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring effective financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management to support the company's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with growth objectives and business vision
  • Act as a financial advisor to the CEO and the executive team, providing insights and guidance on financial matters
  • Present financial reports and analyses to the executive team and board, clearly communicating financial results and strategic recommendations
  • IFRS 15 Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards, establishing robust revenue accounting policies
  • Coordinate with legal, sales, and operations departments to assess and manage the financial impact of contracts and service agreements
  • Regularly update accounting policies to ensure alignment with IFRS 15 and address evolving revenue recognition practices within the technology sector
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
  • Lead financial analysis efforts, identifying trends, variances, and growth opportunities, and recommending actions to enhance financial performance
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance and support data-driven decision-making across departments
  • Operational Efficiency & Cost Management:
  • Drive financial process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, working closely with operational departments to ensure resources are allocated efficiently
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to secure favourable terms and reduce overall operational costs
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial, regulatory, and operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with all Saudi regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of financial governance and integrity
  • Collaborate with auditors and legal advisors to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture that encourages innovation and professional growth
  • Set performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and provide ongoing training to enhance team skills and capabilities
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and excellence within the finance function and across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly valued; MBA is a plus
  • At least 8+ years of progressive financial experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards, especially within the context of IT and technology services
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region, with a solidunderstanding of local financial regulations and market dynamics

Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills, with proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
