ROLE PURPOSE
As a Digital Health Planning Senior Manager within NEOM Health & Wellbeing, you will be responsible for leading the development of digital health initiatives within the Health System
Your primary focus will be on identifying the technology advancements that improve healthcare services, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize health system efficiency. In addition to identifying digital health solution that optimize population health management processes.
By collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging innovative digital solutions, you will play a key role in transforming the delivery of healthcare and promoting a patient-centered and data-driven approach to health services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Lead the Develop and implement digital health solutions (including Virtual Medicine) in alignment with NEOM's objectives, promoting patient-centered care, predictive health informatics, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Health Data Analytics, clinicians, to deliver tangible improvements to patient outcomes through innovative use of digital health technology.
- Oversee clinical informatics initiatives, decode complex health data and ensure optimal use of electronic health records, and other health information systems.
- Oversee the implementation and operation of the Command Center at Neom Hospital, in collaboration with other team members of the Health Sector.
- Develop guidelines and processes for the standardization and optimization of clinical workflows and continuously improve upon them for high efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including terms of data governance, interoperability, patient data privacy, and electronic health records management.
- Drive internal capability building on digital health, providing coaching and mentorship to junior staff, and facilitating professional development efforts.
- Participate in budget development and monitor financial performance, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 10+ years’ professional experience in the healthcare field, with at least 5 years in a managerial position specifically in digital health
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of digital health initiatives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare processes and clinical workflows.
- Knowledge of health data analytics, predictive health informatics, telehealth, and other prominent digital health trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a capacity to inspire, motivate, and guide team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to effectively communicate technical content to non-technical audiences.
- Capacity to manage ambiguity and make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Knowledge of government regulations, specifications, and healthcare laws related to digital health.
