• The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems. This includes creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date drawings and diagrams using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and wiring diagrams.
• Utilize CAD software to create accurate and professional drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather information and incorporate design changes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing files and records.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in electrical design and drafting.
