Executive Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:



  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align sales strategies with business objectives.


  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to ensure individual and collective performance goals are met.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to enhance the team’s sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented team culture focused on exceeding sales targets.


  • Sales Performance Management:
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and sales targets, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Set clear individual and team objectives, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth plans.
  • Identify performance gaps and take corrective actions to ensure consistent sales results.


  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the account management team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention.
  • Lead & participate in relevant industry exhibition. conferences and forums.


  • Sales Process Optimization:
  • Review and refine sales processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Leverage CRM tools and other technology to track performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the sales team is using best practices and adhering to company policies.


  • Collaboration with Other Departments:
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to create integrated sales campaigns and product offerings.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to support product development and marketing efforts.


  • Reporting & Forecasting:
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and ensure timely reporting of sales progress and results.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly to capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications:



  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).


  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics tools.


  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
