Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Supervise front office operations during your shift, ensuring timely and professional check-in/check-out services.
- Conduct shift briefings to ensure all operational requirements are clear and followed.
- Oversee guest information, group bookings, and local event information.
- Manage the use of public address systems and handle guest complaints, providing solutions as needed.
Cashiering & Financial Management:
- Supervise cashiering activities, including cash handling, banking procedures, and dealing with irregular payments.
- Train staff on credit policies, cash security, and debtor control.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with hotel accounting procedures.
Team Management & Coordination:
- Collaborate with Human Resources for manpower planning and team development.
- Work with the Director of Finance to assist in the preparation and management of the department’s budget.
- Ensure smooth communication between front office staff and other hotel departments.
Guest Service Excellence:
- Foster positive relationships with guests, ensuring all inquiries and needs are met promptly.
- Uphold hotel standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in front office or guest services, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Front Office Systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
