Job Overview:


Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead data reporting, investigate project variances, prepare corporate and shareholder reports, and conduct financial analysis for projects and services.

Project Monitoring: Set up and monitor project budgets in SAP, update costs/revenue, and track project performance. Ensure accurate invoicing and operational data.

Forecasting & Budgeting: Manage monthly/quarterly closings, prepare forecasts, and perform budget gap analysis. Support budgeting processes for project managers.

Cost Control: Develop cost control systems, conduct profitability analysis, and ensure accurate project closings.

Operational Support: Assist operations with invoicing, supplier registration, PO issuance, and end-market classification.

Contract Management: Review major contracts, highlight risks, and ensure proper reporting of commercial data.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely reporting to internal/external stakeholders, provide government data submissions, and manage insurance policies.


Essential duties & responsibilities:


  • Lead reporting of the data in the corporate systems.
  • Investigate and analyze all variances against project/contract budgets, forecasts, business cases with HOD's and Project managers.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual corporate and shareholder-related reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, reporting of forecasts, monthly backlog data, quarterly commercial data, working capital projections.
  • Collect information about projects and set up WBS in SAP in accordance with company procedure.
  • Obtain project budget and monitor the execution by timely updating the incurred costs.
  • Update revenue and cost accruals monthly and ensure correct reporting of project performance.
  • Ensure and monitor updates on project invoicing carried out by OTC/AR Team together with the operations and supervisory staff.
  • Check all relevant project related financial and operational data related to execution progress and make necessary amendments if needed.
  • Develop and implement enhanced cost control systems to ensure visibility on margins evolution.
  • Ensure proper project closings in accordance with company and client procedures.
  • Deliver written monthly comprehensive project variance analysis to the management, explaining variances between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Make gap analysis study and communicate any discrepancies or gaps to appropriate Managers.
  • Perform project financial analysis and develop related financial models enabling an effective monitoring of project KPIs.
  • Produce reports on profitability by station, service line, project, customer, field employee, etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to operational management and direct supervisor.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process for project managers.
  • Monitor and comment on variances of budget vs forecast and against actual performance.
  • Increases awareness of the financial impact of business activities within the operational team and support decision making processes related to the project financials.
  • Assist in various project-related tasks, ensure timely response to any query raised.
  • Follow up with suppliers and Ariba Support for completion of supplier registration.
  • Prepare and monitor profit and loss (P&L) accounts for major projects and service lines.
  • Assist the Operations in invoices issuance.
  • Assist in Purchase Order (PO) issuance and new vendor registrations through SAP Ariba.
  • Perform employee-wise profitability analysis where and when required.
  • Handle CIMSA/LIMS quotations issuance and manage proper end-market classification.
  • Act as a Champion for all CIMSA/LIMS quotations issuance and end-market reporting.
  • Assist in monthly closing and reporting – prepare necessary reporting dashboards.
  • Review all big contract drafts and advise on any issues prior to having them signed.
  • Monitor and report the backlog under assigned areas.



Expected deliverables:

  • Monthly analytics for all the Companies under the scope timely submitted on D-2 inclusive of all the comments and variance analysis to the forecasts, budgets and last year results.
  • Accurate monthly forecasts across all the service lines based on the input from the managers.
  • Monthly consolidated reporting by industry and business unit.
  • Timely and accurate data reporting in QlikView (forecasts) and BPC (actuals, forecasts & budgets).
  • Monthly CBRM support files and presentations inclusive of all the comments on the variances and highlights to the major Operations events.
  • Quarterly commercial information vetted and accurately reflecting the actual results and forecasted outcome by correct end-market.
  • Quarterly IKTVA reporting, annual Local content projections, project specific local content estimates for the bidding submission.
  • Accurate annual budget files across all the legal entities separate and consolidated, aligned with the service lines managers and corporate instructions.
  • Comments on major contracts during tender and signing stage with highlight of any potential risks.
  • Summary of insurance policies and reporting of the same in ASM and GRC.
  • Data submission to the Statistics, MISA, and other government authorities.
  • Profitability analysis for the selected projects, service lines and employee wise.
  • Insights on potential operations issues and evolution of the projects’ portfolio.
  • Rolling 12 months cash flow forecasts by industry, legal entity, inclusive of dividend summary due to shareholders.
  • Monthly results reporting and distribution to the shareholders.
  • Ad-hoc reports as required.



Ideal candidate will have:

  • 8-10 Years of experience.
  • proficient in MS Office, Power BI.
  • ACCA Or CIMA qualified.
  • Experienced in MNC environment.
  • Having sense of urgency and attention to details.
