·        Work with the Sector Manager to determine the resources needed (people, equipment, facilities, environmental conditions and method) to carry out the laboratory work.

·        Defining, preparing and approving the scope of the laboratory work.

·        Participate in the development of laboratory objectives, policies and objectives and maintain current documentation at all times.

·        Developing programs and periodic maintenance plans, calibrating equipment, and supervising its performance.

·        Supervising all technical aspects of the laboratory.

·        Prepare necessary procedures to cover technical requirements in ISO / IEC 17025 Also review and approve work instructions.

·        Review test requests and sign contracts.

·        Ensure that test items are handled in a safe manner to avoid any damage.

·        Determine training needs, prepare annual training plan and conduct post-training evaluation for all technical staff.

·        Implement good laboratory practices by providing instructions and training as needed.

·        Develop action plans and procedures to be followed in daily operations.

·        Overseeing laboratory testing methods and equipment selection to meet ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

·        Ensure that laboratory operations are running effectively to achieve customer satisfaction levels.

·        Ensure that the laboratory has the appropriate equipment and supplies.

·        Calculation of uncertainty for selected sample test methods.

·        Identify cases of deviations from the management system or test procedures and initiate corrective actions.

·        Determining the non-conforming work, ensuring that the work has stopped, and holding the test report. Coordinate with the Quality Manager to assess the importance of non-conforming work and implement corrective actions including acceptance of non- conforming work, customer notification and resumption of specified work.

·        Implement the identified corrective actions within an agreed time schedule.

·        Coordinate with the Quality Manager to deal with risks and opportunities for improvement.

·        Review the products and services provided from abroad using the custom form

·        Establish a primary contact point for the laboratory for any technical inquiries and concerns related to the laboratory's work.

·        Review and approve all test reports issued by the laboratory.

·        Development, modification, verification and validation of methods

·        Analysis of results, including statements of conformity.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel and Power Point(

Leadership and management skills.

Knowledge of SASO / GSO / IEC / ISO & related Product test standards

knowledge of ISO / IEC 17025 requirements.
