Commerical Director - GCC Region

Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Commercial Director to lead our sales and commercial operations in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the GCC market dynamics and a proven track record in managing diverse sales channels, including B2B, B2C, HoReCa, wholesale, distributors, and modern trade. This role requires a visionary leader capable of driving business growth, building strong partnerships, and maximizing revenue opportunities in this dynamic and competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for the GCC region to achieve sales, revenue, and market share targets.
  • Lead and manage the regional sales team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, modern trade retailers, and HoReCa partners.
  • Oversee the execution of sales plans across all channels (B2B, B2C, HORECA, wholesale, and modern trade) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess competitive dynamics, and anticipate customer needs.
  • Drive new product launches and ensure effective market penetration by aligning efforts across all sales channels.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with distributors and key accounts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all commercial activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to enhance brand visibility and business relationships.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Residency in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
  • At least 15 years of experience in sales and commercial leadership roles, with significant exposure to the GCC market.
  • Proven expertise in managing B2B and B2C sales channels, including HORECA, wholesale, distributors, and modern trade.
  • Strong understanding of the cultural, economic, and regulatory landscape of the GCC region.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong ability to analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to inform decisions.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the GCC region.
