o Prepare accurate project cost estimates.
o Determine quantities and calculate costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
2. Tender and Bid Preparation:
o Understand contract details and bid requirements.
o Prepare professional bid documents and submissions.
3. Market Awareness:
o Stay updated on local market rates for materials, labor, and services.
o Monitor fluctuations in raw material prices and associated costs.
4. Specialized Software Usage:
o Proficient in tools like:
§ AutoCAD for engineering drawing analysis.
§ Microsoft Excel for preparing detailed cost tables.
§ Primavera or MS Project for time and resource management.
§ Quantity take-off software like CostX or Bluebeam.
5. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure adherence to local and international construction codes and standards.
6. Negotiation and Risk Analysis:
o Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal prices.
o Analyze hidden costs and assess potential project risks.
7. Knowledge of the Etimad.sa Bid System:
o Familiarity with Etimad.sa for managing bids is an advantage.
8. Experience in Saudi Arabia:
