As an Electrician you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation within our food production facility. Your role will involve troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections, and working closely with other maintenance staff to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. 

  • Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Systems: Install and set up electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and control systems, for new equipment or facilities.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues that affect machinery or production processes.
  • Repair: Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and motors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations and modifications comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Safety Standards: Adhere to safety standards and practices to prevent electrical hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordination: Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to coordinate electrical work and ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other departments on electrical issues and system operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, maintenance activities, repairs, and compliance checks.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on electrical system performance, issues, and maintenance activities.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for electrical systems and equipment to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Emergency Procedures: Implement and follow emergency procedures for electrical system failures or hazards.
  • Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades to electrical systems to improve performance or accommodate new equipment.
